Snow Lake, WA

You never have to be without a camera, as long as you have your mobile phone or other portable device.

Snow Lake, WA

Post by Jim Evans »

One of my favorite quick and fairly easy hikes. 40 minute drive, 1.5 hours hike and then, this!

One the main reasons I moved to the NW is for easy access to these types of places.

Not bad for my phone's camera. Just adjusted the usual contrast, brightness, vibrance, etc.

That is absolutely stunning, Jim. You are lucky to have sights like this within your reach.

Very nice!! If you said you'd taken that with a $1000 DSLR, I'd have believed you!

Thanks for the replies everyone. Moved from my home in Texas of 40 years to Seattle about 3 years ago. Can never imagine going back at this point mainly due to places like this. When I want, I can take day trips to some of the most beautiful places on earth from Seattle. Not so much from Houston. ;)

Have a short weekend trip to Vancouver Island in a couple weeks. Hope to really start to refocus on photography on the trip. Despite living in such a beautiful area, I seemed to have a lost a little desire and passion for photography lately. Really no excuse for it.
