Phil,
Your documentation of the Decatur County Fair is a real pleasure to browse through. It's a bigger, brighter fair than the ones we had in my home county in the 1940s and '50s; but, the shape of it is familiar to me. It's encouraging to see local events planned and carried out proudly. Maybe I missed it, but I'm wondering what gear you were using-- very effective.

I just had my Nikon P7700 with me, Bill. I figured it was the most effective for going indoors and out, and dealing with florescent lights. Plus, it was much lighter than hauling out an SLR.

Hello, Phil,
I've just reviewed your 6-part series. You certainly captured a lot of local color. Speaking of color, your parts 1 and 6 were gorgeous. I particularly enjoyed seeing all the food stalls in part 6.
It was also good to see a strong 4-H component in part 2. My bride and I were active in 4-H for more than 10 years, and I have great respect for what the movement does for young people.
Thanks for all the work you put in on this opus.
Best,
Dennis

Phil, I've enjoyed following along with this. I lived in Indiana when I was a kid, spent a lot of time at the county and state fairs. This brings back memories. Thanks.
