Some shots from an OMPC I was testing. I can’t say as I like the handling of it, nor the resulting exposures. These were highly doctored.

Re: Olympus OMPC Camera Test
Phil, I'm not familiar with that Olympus model, but any camera that gets photos of railroad related stuff is ok in my book. I spent my first 14 years, down to 1952, right by a whistle stop on the M&St.L line that ran from Minneapolis to Peoria. That section of track is all gone now and I only started taking pictures after we moved out, so I have to rely on memories.

I grew up three doors down from the Big Four (CCC&StL) main, and Grandpa's place was just on the other side. Luckily, it's still there, though it's basically cut off from Indianapolis. Only trains now come up out of Cincinnati to the new Honda plant, then back again.

We call it the OM40. Mine has a tapering shutter that I haven't sorted yet, but it's a nice camera. I dressed mine in blue sharkskin. I posted a thread on this camera on Nelson Foto way back when God was a boy, which I will re-post here.

Looks cool, Graham. I'm looking to get one of those 1.4's someday, if the digicam bokeh fanboys don't snatch them all up.
