Manayunk Food Walk...

Post by scott »

Hi, all -

Yesterday my family did a food tour of Manayunk, PA, on of the outer "neighborhoods" in Philly, though a town in its own right. I brought along the 70D and shot some pictures which had little to do with food or walking. For your amusement, in no particular order:

Thanks for looking.

Many photo opportunities happen when one is just strolling along. Nice family photos, too, Scott. You got a volunteer who knows how to hold a camera for the fire engine portrait.

HI, Scott,

Nice pictures all. That town just shouts "Pennsylvania" to me. I always like walking through the small towns when I get back there. Although the B&W photos resonate the most with me, I'm happy that you included the bright fire hydrant.

Old business: A month or more ago, you proposed a PTN photo-walk. I really have the itch to do this, and I wonder if you have time to pick a date or set any other constraints? It appeared that six or seven members of PTN were interested. Judging from responses to other posts, you probably won't get any more commitment from the membership. Thanks a bunch for reconsidering the walk.

Best,
Dennis

Looks like a fun visit with your family. Did you ride the Manayunk Wall while you were there? :-)

Thanks guys. Phil, the fireman not only knew how to compose, but immediately flipped open the flash for this shot. I was impressed. Robert, I have a bit of work to do before I can ride that, but the PiL and bro-in-law did about 20 years ago.

Dennis, I'll post something over to the other thread, but after getting sidetracked by new employment, I need to follow through on the walk. Stay tuned...
