A few from the Harrier Invitational

Post by scott »

Hi, all -

My son had a XC meet this weekend near his school. Horrible course, criss-crossing the high school campus, very confusing and a mix of terrain. Some of the JV girls missed turns it was so badly marked. He did well - knocked 1:10 off his previous 5k time. It was hot and bright, but the boys did pretty well.

Just a few from the meet:

Nice, sharp action shots, Scott. I can almost smell the perspiration!

Congratulate your boy from me.

Best,
Dennis

1:10 is quite an improvement. Good running, and you got some great shots, Scott.

Thanks, guys. I'm proud of him. He says to me before, and after, the meet: "This is a stupid sport." "Are you going to run cross country next year?" says I. "Yeah, probably." Yep.
