had a very intense sets of thunderstorms go by......

Oh, those are good. Were you shooting from indoors? Or did you venture outside to take these?

Lightning photos are cool. I haven't shot lightning in decades.

Superb! It's tough to get both lightning, a nicely colored sky and an interesting foreground too. How long a time were you holding the shutter open?

15 seconds @iso 200. illumination (other than the orange from the streetlight , is provided entirely by lightning.lots of high altitude stuff.

Excellent captures, I have always found it very hard to get good lightning pictures, and certainly not because of lack of storms.
