The camera only has one shutter speed of somewhere between 1/40 and 1/60, so I loaded it with 100 ISO for a cloudy day. It seemed to be just right, though I had to do a lot of work on most of the images, mainly to reduce the diffuse lens flare.

Phil, these photos are really good. My favorite is Shrine and Cathedral. I liked the fact that you used the camera to take straightforward photos which I prefer to special effects. Toy Camera Day was the same day as my wife's 50 year college class reunion in a town about 120 miles away. I carried an Ultrawide and Slim with me, but with all that was going on I never got a chance to use it. Maybe next year.

As promised here are a few pictures taken with my plastic Lomographic Fisheye Camera on 18 October, World Toy Camera Day. Thanks to Phil / PF for reminding me! These were shot on a roll of very expired Kodak Supra 800 (probably expired around 2001 and not stored well since). I had some difficulty gettihg it developed. I normally take C41 film to a local Wal-Mart but their film machine was out of order. They hoped to have it going later that day or the next but when I returned five days later, the machine was still down. I took my film back and brought it about ten miles away to another Wal-Mart -- and they were closed due to an unplanned electricity outage! A third Wal-Mart also had a broken machine and a fourth has no film machine at all. So I brought it back to my usual store and asked them to call when it was ready. Finally today, nine days after the original drop-off, the film was done. Whew. This bodes ill for the future of commercial C41 development in this town and makes me more certain that I will start developing C41 (as well as my b&w which I am in dribs and drabs doing again). But that will be "eventually" -- like when I retire in a couple of years.

Anyway, here are five shots off the roll:

Somehow I like the composition of the view from the dish drainer best. But they're all fun.

OK I got mine done. I used a modified and non modified Time/Life clone called the Nicca. If you follow the link there is a picture in the album of this beauty I made.

I took these a couple of years ago with a thriftstore plastic 'toy?' camera.
I was on the way home and seen this old car sitting out behind a shop, gotta get a picture of that!
But--- the only camera that I had was, you guessed it, the toy camera that I had just bought. And the only reason that I bought it was that it had a roll of film in it.
I think that later I gave it to one of the Grandkids to play with
