Polaroid 95 - such a beauty!

Post by rumtea »

I bought this camera brand new in box from a person who selling her father's camera collection. Even they don't make film for it any more, but in able to hold it in my hand and look at it everyday is enough to give me joy :-)

It *is* a lovely thing. Is the 95 one of the Polaroid models that people have converted for use with cut film?

Yeah, I got one too just for the sake of it. The camera that started the revolution. My favorite was the 110B Pathfinder. I had a lot of fun with that camera as long as I could get film for it.

To answer your question, Philip, the 110, 110A, and110B are the models that usually got converted to a 4x5 back, as they had lenses that could cover the film, shutters with all speeds up to 1/500, and a built in rangefinder. Many also also got stripped of their lens/shutter assemblies to be put on 4x5 camera lensboards before the back conversion came out.

Hi Phillip, I saw they convert this camera here http://www.polaroidconversions.com/extr ... camera.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
BUt it is insanely expensive and almost destroyed the camera.
I got the Polaroid 100 too and this one still have film on it. It's really fun to use, just need new battery and and film. All can buy from amazon. That camera is pretty cheap on ebay. Sometime you saw people sold a whole package almost brand new. I got mine in excellent condition with leather case, flash, papers for just $19 :-0
