Balcony View Of Autumn

Post by PFMcFarland »

I live on the second floor of an apartment building that used to be part of a golf resort. And once you get past all the satellite TV dishes, and the trash overflowing the dumpster, it's a pretty nice place. Especially in the fall of the year.

The neighborhood across the way always has better looking trees than around our apartments. But then they paid to have them planted many years ago for the colors. Unfortunately, when it dries out in late summer that means they tend to turn more russet than red.

I can watch all the small fireworks in the valley that are launched during some holidays. And if I look out past the right side of the tree on the right, I can see the town of Vinton's Fourth of July celebration.

The shadows were playing around, making some areas brighter than others.

This is why I find the thought of moving out of this place a hard decision to make. But it will have to happen some day.

Nice neighborhood. You are lucky to have good color right at home.
