Re: Rollei Prego Zoom Test
Phil, That's surely a fine Christmas present-- many features and excellent results. It seems to handle a lot of sky in the frame well; does it have exposure compensation?

Not that I've noticed, Bill. But then I haven't worked through all ten shooting modes yet.minoly wrote:Phil, That's surely a fine Christmas present-- many features and excellent results. It seems to handle a lot of sky in the frame well; does it have exposure compensation?

'Preggers' is more common here, which I think came over from the UK. Prego is also the name of a nationally marketed brand of spaghetti sauce.Martolod wrote:in Australia 'Prego' is Strain Slang for Pregnant....

and yet again the NFF curse strikes again.
i have always loved the way a thread starts of with a Photographic subject, and then, somehow time and again it will ,via something completely unrelated and often esoteric , end up with a post commenting or discussing Food.
brilliant.

Re: Rollei Prego Zoom Test
That's odd. Someone posting a reply to my latest post, and somehow it got put in with my post. Maybe a malfunction of the "Quote" button? Anyone want to lay claim to the below addition?

That's okay, Kalle. I was just hoping it wasn't a new fault introduced during the last crash.

The Prego was an awesome P&S
I bought it in 96 and used it to hike around the Andes, then during my grad school years and with my 1st child...
until it finally gave up on 2004
Super advanced features for the time, the intervalometer rocked!
