Medium Format Practice

Post by PFMcFarland »

Got the itch to shoot some 120 film, so I loaded the Zeiss Mess Ikonta 524/16 with some Kodak T-Max 100, popped on an orange filter, and headed on out.

Looks good, PF. Seems like the orange filter was the right choice given the time of year.

I like the orange filter no matter what time of year, especially with T-Max.

A very respectable lens in that folder. Well done!

Wow. Great shots. That filter really makes the T-Max 100 pop.

Nice combination. Does yours have the triplet lens, or tessar?

I've got its bigger format brother, but it currently needs its shutter attending to - it won't stay tensioned.

It's the Novar-Anastigmat, Paul, a nice triplet. I've also got one on my Nettar, but prefer using the Ikonta for the (uncoupled) rangefinder.
