Those are impressive. Sad to say, my camera phone is more like a point & shoot.

However, here is a funny one. I call this "worst parking job ever."

Probably not ever, but it's how I described it.

New to the "smartphone" thing. Love those black & whites.
Mike, it's still kinda in the driveway. Not so bad, really.

Just the end of March and our wisteria is bloomin' wonderful.

Morning light in Bloomington, Indiana. Through the hotel's not so clean window. (P C, #3 is excellent!)

Bill, these are very interesting - I especially like the Grand Central shot. I may have to look into Hipstamatic. I confess that I'm having a lot of trouble adjusting to editing on my tiny phone screen with my seemingly huge fingers after years of editing with a Wacom pen and a big-ish monitor. Like they say, though, it is the camera you always have with you. - Mike

The thing with smartphone photography is the fact it is quick and dirty and I can get my image creation fix if I left one of my cameras at home. The thing with Hipstamatic is it's a a series of filters and pretty much does all the editing for you. Now two apps I really love using are Google Snapseed and VSCOcam. Both deliver stunning results.

Here's a couple of architectural shots from a couple of weeks back. These are of the end of a new apartment block on the waterfront, which replaced the old overseas passenger terminal, which was built when cruise ships were the only practical and cost effective way to get all the way to NZ. The apartment at the end, just under this roofing proboscis, went for NZ$10M  Still, front row harbour and city views, pretty much in the middle of the capital, so by international standards I suppose it could be considered a bargain....
