Extreme

Post by P C Headland »

I headed out for an hour or two on Saturday afternoon for a wander with the camera. Given the clear blue sky and bright sun, I thought I may as well make the most of it. So, rather than avoiding the harsh light, I thought I'd work with it, pushing the contrast and / or saturation a bit to make graphical images.

Something's gone astray with this one, it's in the wrong format (not square)!

I saw the first image and knew it was yours before I looked at the author. You seem to be the specialist in graphic images here. :-)

Good stuff; it seems to me that being able to recognize visual interest in any scene or any light is a higher level of maturity for a photographer and you've achieved that.

Beautiful photos, Paul, and a nice tip on what to do under harsh light.
