2013 Boston Marathon Memorial Exhibit

Post by jamesmck »

Yesterday I attended an exhibit at the Boston Public Library of items left at the site of the April 2013 Boston Marathon bombing. The library is steps away from the finish line for the marathon. Here are a coupe of photos, and others are in a Flickr set: https://www.flickr.com/photos/jamesmck3 ... 908053905/. Enjoy. --- James

Good shots all, James, both here and on Flicker. The second shot here has great lighting. Was there a skylight overhead? Thanks for posting.

Thanks for alerting us about 2013 Boston Marathon Memorial Exhibition. Somehow, I missed seeing any announcement about this important display.

I echo Dennis’ comments about the mound of sneakers presentation. They were well arranged and lit, but you chose an ideal POV.

It’s another one of your well presented reportage of a special historical event, albeit taking place not yet a year ago.

Thanks for the comments, Dennis and Les. I don't recall there being a skylight, but the lighting does suggest that.
