Okay, these aren’t photos of horses, and the first two aren’t even Mustangs! But there are plenty of them, plus other Ford and Mercury models to ogle.

Re: Rounding Up The Mustangs
Boy, if somebody told me they had a mint '56 T-bird, I wouldn't necessarily be thinking so literally. Nice shots; photo ops galore!

That's a big lot of Fords and Mercuries, Phil. I was glad to see a Falcon in the bunch, but didn't find our 1981 base model Fairmont-- not very muscular (2.3 l engine) but took us comfortably to and through the Canadian Rockies. Thanks for a good dose of car nostalgia.

Re: Rounding Up The Mustangs
Thanks, Robert, and Bill.
I had a red '81 Fairmont wagon for a while, very used and worn out. But it got me around for a few months until the transmission had a hemorrhage. Then I got the follow-on LTD (same Fairmont base, but with a smoother body). I kept looking for the V-8 powered model, but to no avail. Decent cars, but they weren't made to last. I think the crusher program a few years back got what was left of them off the road.
