Amazing that the Nikon kit lens is that good. Well, not really...it's the photographer, not the lens!

They really are beautiful. My first thought was that they were Cecropia Moths, but they're not and they're also not in North America. What are they?

Beautiful macros and Spring colors! I had never noticed this kind of moth / butterfly, probably they do not live down here.

This is the Peacock Butterfly (inachis io) which is quite rare in the U.K. now. This taken in Hertfordshire.

So pretty! And lilacs - I can almost smell their sweet scent! We're still waiting for spring here, so these pictures make a nice change from snow and grey skies!
