The Zeiss Ikon Super Nettel was the camera maker's second 35mm camera. While we often think about the Zeiss Ikon folding camera, this was its only prewar folding 35mm camera. And Zeiss Ikon made only four folding 35mm camera models in its history.
The Super Nettel was produced from 1934-1938.
This is a very solid camera with an art deco lens panel and the famous Zeiss Ikon focusing wheel.
This camera has the Triotar, a triplet, and it's a very good lens. I've enjoyed shooting with it throughout the years.
I had completed another video, but I wasn't satisfied with the quality, so I re-shot it today using my Sony NEX 7. About 15 minutes in, the camera began to overheat, flashing the temperature symbol. A new video camera is in the works.

Re: Video: Zeiss Ikon Super Nettel
Great video and a neat little camera! If I ever get back into camera collection, I think I'm gonna focus on Zeiss models. I really like the look & feel of them.

I really love that front panel. It had never struck me that these looked so nice, because overall I'm not so wild about the general look of the Nettel. I prefer the looks of the Contessa.

Lovely camera, Mike. You did a good job on it, and the video.
