Samson Flat Fire Floor-8 Months down the Track

The Bush is remarkable. The Fire burned very,very Hot. A Big number of Trees are dead, having their roots burned......and yet the surving trees are Sprouting, even the ones i thought were dead. Thousands upon Thousands of Black Boys/Grass Trees/Kangaroo Tails have sprouted, many in places where they have not been before. seed pods have been finally cracked open by the fire , and in the matter of a few Months they have germinated, sprouted and shot up a 6 foot flower stalk. For me that was the most remarkable sight, all the new Black Boys everywhere. ANd Morning Fog was just magic.
