Yashica 72-E Camera Test

Post by PFMcFarland »

It has some issues, such as the background plate in the meter shifts around jamming the needle, and there is a light leak (14 out of 44 frames). But it handles nicely,

Some sample images of, and from the Yashica 72-E Half Frame Camera.

Those Yashicas are neat HF cameras and they can make great pictures as your post shows. I tried to get one a couple of times-- from Shutterbug ads and then from ebay-- but never got one that was workable. Sounds like you understand the hiccups your 72E has and will likely be able to cure them. Glad to see a new post in HF.
