Effing On Road Disaster...

When medium format isn't big enough: 4x5, 5x7, 9x12, 8x10 and even larger.

Effing On Road Disaster...

Yep - a Ford.

About, wow, a year and a half ago, maybe more, I decided I needed a slightly wide lens for 4x5. After much hemming and hawing I picked up a Fujinon-W 125/5.6. Beautiful lens. And I haven't used it since. Until yesterday. Tried it a couple times, unsuccessfully. I'm happy with this one though. Cropped from 4x5 (I don't have the lines on my ground glass for using the splitter). I need to go shoot some landscapes...

What was unsuccessful about it Scott? Sometimes breaking that down can point you in the right direction...

I worded that poorly. I'd tried this lens twice before, neither successful (one really bad composition and one metering issue). I'm very happy with how this picture turned out, though, and need to try it more.

EDIT: On doing a little more research, it appears this is the more contemporary Fujinon-NW 125/5.6...
