Photo upload tool isn't working

Post by melek »

I think it has to do with the web host's PHP upgrade. I'm speaking with my code guy about it.

If you try the upload tool and see a big error message, it's OK.

I'm displaying the error messages so that we can figure out where the process is failing.

Hello, Mike: Did the upload problem affect images that were previously uploaded? I noticed that images were missing in two posts of mine that I looked at. "Image" appears as an active link in those two, but clicking on it didn't do anything.
Thanks,
Bill D.

Bill, this is separate from the upload issue. Hopefully, everything gets corrected soon.
UPDATE: ImageShack is back up, but the tool still isn't working. The fix is beyond my modest/non-existent PHP skills.

Photo upload tool | Update

Until I get the file upload tool running correctly, use the "Attachments" tab that is under the "Save Draft," "Preview" and "Submit" buttons to attach photos to your post. You need to be in the "Full Editor" view to attach photos.

I think there is a 1MB limit, so you will need to resize your images. That's not a bad thing, by the way.

Next year, I hope to move to a new server with unlimited server space, which will allow the forum posts to have unlimited attachments.
