I had some time after a meeting to stop in at the Princeton, WV Railroad Museum, which houses artifacts and displays from the Virginian and Norfolk & Western Railways as they pertain to the area around Princeton.
I only had half a roll of Kodak Ektar 100 left in the Yashica Electro 35 CC, but it was enough for the short visit. The station is a reproduction built to modern standards of the original that burned down many years ago.
Next door is the Mercer County Agricultural Museum that is housed in the former REA (Railway Express Agency) freight house that was moved from another part of the yard to be closer to the railroad museum.

That place looks very interesting. You did well with difficult light.

Thanks, Julio. I don't like shooting around noontime, but then I don't like hanging around four hours either.

Phil, that's a great place you found and your pictures make we want to go there. The combination of RR stuff and Ag stuff is very nostalgic for me. This week one of our papers is running a series about the most dangerous places to work-- small, kind of old-fashioned farms, like the one I grew up on and was still running a tractor on until 1999. Reading the article both scares me and makes me grateful that I never rolled an old Allis Chalmers over on one of the sidehills. Your photo that shows the hay mower and a small disk in the background says a lot. Good documentation.
