Impressive! That is steam from the cooling tower. Did you use a telephoto lens?

Thanks Julio, I used the "kit" 18-55mm lens of my Pentax DSLR
I am not sure which focal it was.

The cooling towerr is the Shearon-Harris nuclear power plant and it dominates the flat land
