If you can't fix it with a hammer... you got an electrical problem
even duct tape can't fix stupid.... but it can muffle it (SilentObserver)

Beautiful mechanism, from when there was no TV, Internet or cell phones and people would concentrate in what they were doing.

I like the regulator (?) at the upper left, slow/fast.

It's a 1936 Hamilton Railroad watch. I got it at the flea market for $15. It's worth between $200-$400. Wish every flea market buy worked out this well! :D

I'll raise you a Hamilton pocket watch. Mine is 1913 vintage if I recall.

1917 according to this site.. Very nice looking watch there! My wife liked the swirly pattern on the movement. :)
