Nice work Brian, and nice subjects.
I haven't put my adapter to work yet, but you give me a good idea what to expect.
Thanks for the come back.

Lens Swapping
Re: Lens Swapping
Lots of life left in these old lenses.
I believe that digital sensors prefer light falling perpendicular to the sensor, so it makes sense that there may be problems at small apertures. With the lens wide open, the sensor should work all right.
The software correction might not be optimized for the old lens, but that is just extra character.

Brian, those look really good. The Sonnar almost has a Tessar look to it.
I think my next two purchases will be Contax RF to NEX and Leica M to NEX.

Here are a couple of examples of "old" glass used on a modern DSLR. Camera body was a Canon 7D.

Thanks Mike - just snapshots to see if the various lenses actually performed on a digital camera. I often used heritage (CZJena and Takumars) on my Canon Eos film cameras, and despite all the hype about reflection between the rear element surface and the sensor, I have never had a problem using them on my digital cameras.
I met a guy in our local dealer the other day who had never actually used a manual focus lens and had never even focussed an AF lens manually! Yet he owned a Nikon D800 and enough Nikon glass to stock a small shop. Oh well....

You are very lucky to have some of those Pentax 110 lenses.Santiago Montenegro wrote: Lately I've been playing around with Pentax A110 lenses in the Sony A7:
