Thanks, PF. I'm really getting into again, just short on time. Actually bought a Nikkor W 150/5.6 the other day, so LF GAS is in full swing! My regular tripod was in the wife's car at the time, so I dragged out the Ries, and it was awesome for straddling the bank at the creek. Having my son with me made it a really nice time.

Ries plus Asanuma: rocking it old school! You never know what the kids will pick up from hanging with you doing that kind of thing. Sometimes it takes years to show up. But they always take something from it...
