It is taking me about a month to complete a roll. Just finished a test roll for two new lenses that came from the German *bay auction site, a Sonnar 135/4 and a Flektogon 35/2.8. These two lenses are the end of my Exakta run, for the time being, although I like this system a lot.
First, the Sonnar samples.
Head of the Greeting Man monument - a hard one for reflections.
Part of a fountain in Rodo park, Oriental style.
and two from the fishing harbor.
Now the Flektogon, First, a vertical of one of those little fishing boats. I like the tones and the reflection in this one.
A couple watching the River Plate, in a nice winter morning.
Water birds in Rodo park.
An open-air photo expo of an Uruguayan artist - pictures from an Asia trip. Impressive images. I did not know this guy.
These are two classic Exakta Zeiss lenses, and it is easy to see why. The Flektogon is tack sharp, and gives very good contrast. The Sonnar is, well a Sonnar. I have yet to find one that is below excellent. However, this one does not focus to infinity, so I must take it back to the tech guy for adjustmentl.
Film was Pan F+ in Beutler mix. Thanks for looking!

I agree. A very nice set of b/w images.Julio1fer wrote:I like the tones and the reflection in this one.

Sharp sharp sharp. Good looking stuff! I have the Flektogon 35/2.4 in M42 mount and it is possibly my favorite lens.

Fine lenses make for good results. And with a good photographer choosing the compositions, where can you go wrong?

Outstanding.
If we all saw the world the same no one would need a camera.
