I get mine commercially scanned. I figure since they developed it, why should I bother with the time consuming task of scanning? That, and I never hooked up my V500. All my computer stuff is getting woefully out-of-date.

I still use my trusty Minolta Dimage Scan Elite 5400. Only trouble is, I use Mac OS and the only driver that works (after a fashion) is VueScan. I have a standing order at the local parish to offer a daily prayer on my behalf to the scanner gods to keep it working, as there are no spares available anywhere, not even the lamp! The flatbed scanner on my Canon MG8200 is not bad for prints, but the 35mm film scanning function gives lousy scans. I don't have a MF scanner, so I am keeping my eyes open in the thrift shops for an Epson XXXX. I have a note in my "to do" jar to set up a copy stand to try copying 6x6 B&W negs using my Nikon D610.

I use my Epson V700 for MF and LF. I had a DualScan IV for a while for the odd 35mm, but found I could get almost as good for the rare 35mm frame from the V700 so I swapped it for a micro 4/3rds lens. For curly 120 film, I had a couple of strips of anti-reflective framing glass cut that fit in the Epson holder slots.

Edits are done in Apple's Aperture, but I'm now using Affinity more and more.

That said, most shots these days are done with my phone....
