Back in May, after attending a camera show in Fairfax, VA, on the return trip to Roanoke I stopped in several places along the rail line I used to work on in that area to get some photos. Mainly I wanted to get some of the many trestles in proper light, as it was a beautiful day.
But the camera (Nicca-III S, W-Nikkor·C 35cm 1:3.5, and Ilford Delta 100) lost a shutter curtain about two thirds through the roll, so the tour was sort of truncated. But you'll find what I was able to salvage at https://flic.kr/s/aHsm4ffcWz
And here is the lead photo, a panoramic of my headquarters I worked out of.

Nicely done pano, Phil. Pity about the Nicca shutter. Is it repairable?

Thanks, Graham. Yeah, it's a common problem with LTM cameras, one of the curtain ribbons broke. I know a shop in North Carolina that specializes in older cameras, so I'm going to send it his way. I've never done a shutter replacement before, and just don't want to learn how on a Nicca.GrahamS wrote:Nicely done pano, Phil. Pity about the Nicca shutter. Is it repairable?
