The Impossible Project and Polaroid have merged to become Polaroid Originals!

Includes a new camera, the OneStep 2, which uses the i-Type film. Also lower prices on existing emulsions!
Now, if only I had a job and some ready cash to buy some. My SX-70 has been awful lonely these last few years.

This is pretty cool. I knew that instant had become a niche product within the niche category of film photography, but that segment must be healthier than I thought it was. Good for them.

Yeah, the new camera looks good in the all black version. I guess it's too much though to think they'll come back out with the old roll film so I can use my 110B again.

I'm hoping they'll bring back packfilm, at least.
I signed up for their mailing list and got a 10% off coupon for my first order. Despite being unemployed again, I decided to treat myself and ordered a couple packs of their SX-70 film. I'll post the results once it comes in.

Very nice! Good for you!
Brings memories. I shot a SX-70 back in 1980 for a couple of months. An amazing little gadget, an iconic design up there with the best. Got my fingers burned with the flashbulbs, several times.

Yeah, that's how I remember the film, a bit soft in a nice way. Impossible has come a long way with the stuff, as usually with the early versions there would be big patches where the chemicals didn't spread evenly. I was looking at some SX-70 shots today I took back in the early eighties, and they still have most of their color intact.
