Mushrooms

Often simply written as "W/NW" - your favorite photos. Explain them, or let your photos (film or digital) speak for themselves.

Mushrooms

Post by Captain Slack »

I shot this roll of film way back in 2014, I believe. Took me a couple of years to get around to developing it and getting the negatives scanned. Then more months passed before I finally uploaded them.

I don't call myself Captain Slack for nothing!

That first picture is really great. I am a keen HC-110 user too.

Worth the wait. I prefer the contrast of the first one, but I guess they can all be adjusted to preference. Well done, Nathan.

Thanks everyone!

I Did go a little stronger with the contrast on the first one than the other three. I appreciate the feedback.

Fine shots. Pentax glass rarely disappoints.

I am not familiar with these mushrooms, how large are they?

Santiago: The 85mm/1.9 is a keeper! Just wish mine wouldn't focus past infinity. ;(

Mike: I'd actually found them a day or so earlier when I was out for a hike at the local nature park. Didn't have my camera with me, so I went back to take these pics.

Julio: They were pretty big! That kind grows around here (Eastern North Carolina) a lot, but they usually don't get that size. I'd say the larger one's were 4-5 inches across.
