Lubitel 166 Universal

Often simply written as "W/NW" - your favorite photos. Explain them, or let your photos (film or digital) speak for themselves.

Lubitel 166 Universal

Post by alexvaras »

Well... I wouldn't be in this forum or shooting MF if my brother woudn't had given as a present a Lubitel 166 Universal, we are taking north of Spain ending the 90's (where my brother bought it... He even doesn't remember)

It was the coolest thing ever (so far I only had my Yashica Minister-D and a Pentax reflex with zoom) and over the next 5-6 years I took it with me in my travels, here you have some photos I did with "her" (yes, cameras for me are women, Spanish nouns have gender and cámara is female).

In 2001 I did a trip Germany-Sweden.

Berlin, Sony Center If I remember.

After reading a book about it, the Vasa is one of the sights I want to see if I ever make it to Europe, Alex. You did good work with that Lubitel. The one I have is a rust bucket.
