Nettar 518/16 - Tsaritsyno Park

Post by alexvaras »

Yesterday was a sunny and cold day, Nettar did the job.

Still need to find better exposure times for snow, yesterday was mostly Sunny 16 rule. I don't feel secure with so much light and the readings I get from Digisix and Apps.

Beautiful pictures. I especially like the third one. And the last one (ice-fishing?).

You need to take incident light readings. If your Digisix does not have an incident cone, take a reading of the light reflected off the palm of your hand and open up one stop (if meter says f8 use f5.6.)

Exposure seems all right. And that is a sharp lens!

You hit the mark with those exposures. I think you captured the coldness of the place very well. And look, white snow!

Thank you Philip, yes it's, I walked 50 meters to his place and my wife thought I was going to get only a purple eye, this kind of guys are not very friendly, when I asked him if I could take him a photo he just growled affirmatively.

Thanks for the tip Graham, I will keep it in mind and do some tests.

Very nice, Alex. Yes, a sharp lens. The "lesser" lens on the 517-16 is not so bad either. Different season, of course.
