A new video on the Pentacon Electra

Post by melek »

When someone asks me a question about a camera via e-mail, it's can be easier to put together a quick video.

This is the Pentacon Electra. It's a 35mm camera that requires Agfa Rapid cassettes, which today you have to preload. Plus, you're limited to 12 photos.

The Meyer-Optik Domiplan has that swirly bokeh.

I tried to add some humor to this video.

Here's the only shot that I was able to locate. My dog.

Swirly!

Good review, Mike. I need to put my Rapid cassettes to good use some day. I actually got one that had the film in it, so it won't be hard to find out exactly how long it has to be. That is if I can find where I stashed it.

Loading that camera seems more difficult than re-roll 120 to 620 :D

Nice pic of your dog, seems to be a good one :)

Great review, Mike. I love the picture of the dog. That Bokeh sure is nice, but I am too lazy to put up with those Agfa cartridges.
