Opening soon

Often simply written as "W/NW" - your favorite photos. Explain them, or let your photos (film or digital) speak for themselves.

A certain animated sequence from Pink Floyd's "The Wall" movie comes to mind.

Magnolia grandiflora. One of my absolute favorite trees. And such amazing scent that hangs in the air. We even have a few here in southern Indiana, although it originated in the much deeper south.

I think I have seen that tree only once in my life, in a trip to Sochi at the Black Sea where climate is semi-tropical.

They are tougher than some think. Yes I doubt many have seen them other than outside the Southern U.S. as they are native here but I have seen them grow as far north here as Ohio. Here they are evergreens but in some places they lose their cover in the winter.
