1982 M4-P, pre-dinged, and in ready to go condition.

The CL is either going to have to make room, or I need to get a bigger bag so they can share more easily.

Sweet! That's the Leica I would choose.

That's a nice set - a really nice pair of cameras.

Back around 1983, I had the chance to buy two cameras, and I didn't buy either. A Rolleiflex 2.8F for $900 and a Leica M-4 with three lenses for $600. WHAT WAS I THINKING?!

Especially since M4's are going for big bucks these days, Mike. Everyone wants the old school manufacturing principles. Why, I don't know, because that comes with the attendant high maintenance costs. I feel like I lucked out with both of these cameras because they are underrated, thus you can find a bargain (relatively speaking).

Those cameras that you have look really nice. I have noticed that the price of the Leica CL has dropped a bit.

Overall, film camera prices seem a bit down, even as interest in "retro" items is up. I read an article that said younger folks are interested in vinyl (albums) and cassettes although not CDs.

Finally have the camera accessorized to my liking. Plugs for the PC sockets, a Leica strap that came in a box lot from an auction, a Rapidwinder, and TomA Softie to round things out. Ready for just about anything now.

Mmmm. That's a nice camera. I still like the Leicas best in black.

Enjoy. I started with a RF camera back in the early 70s. I still have a few around but alas they are all Ukrainian or Russian.

If we all saw the world the same no one would need a camera.
