				How long would it take them to build a factory, then train a staff to make the cameras?  And with who's money?  The State is obviously spending all theirs on the proxy wars.

				Anyway, as long as they don't buy our apples and pears anymore, I won't invest in Russian crap either. The recent threads here about the Speedex/Isolette and Olympus Pen HF got me far more excited

I'll bet the original factory is probably still there.  And the original equipment, too.  It's probably rusty and old as dirt, but I'll bet they'll coax it into life again.  Whether or not the resulting camera could be defined as "luxury" is in the eye of the beholder.
