I never log out. Never have, never will. Same thing I did when it was Yahoo. After establishing my new password, I logged out once to see if I could get back in okay, then left it alone. That was before the "update". You may have to do a reset on your password, if they provide that option.

The only option to do this takes one to a Yahoo screen. Useless. This sign-in issue seems to be among the most complained about thing mentioned online. I cannot imagine them not fixing this sooner rather than later.

Yes, hiccups over and over from the new Flickr servers. Weird things happening today with the number of "Faves" on a new picture: are there 3 or are there 4?

I hate their new layout for Stats -- not nearly as useful as the old one.

That shot looks out of a Ford brochure. Somehow the wheels do not seem natural to me.

It's an F100 Ranger, Julio. The wheels are a custom addition, so it sits a bit higher than normal. And yeah, they don't look very natural at all. It's even worse when viewed in full profile. Second vehicle I ever owned was a 1969 F250, with the 360cid V8. It wasn't as big a gas hog as the '73 F250 Ranger XLT with a 390cid V8. Good thing that one had twin fuel tanks so I could haul 40 gallons of gas.

I was out all week and today it seems fine... just changed my login to the new one. Tested it on a nother computer and worked fine
Hopefully the glitches have been fixed

Thanks, that's what I was aiming for.

Maybe you haven't looked at Stats for a looooong time, because it's still the same from what I see.

I don't think they replaced anyone from the old Yahoo IT troops, James, so it could be a while. I see a lot of the same old crap happening as when Yahoo was in charge, with a few new oops thrown in for good measure.

Yesterday I got a prompt to create a new identity...they are disconnecting the Yahoo validation.

On a totally unrelated subject, but still affected by the Flickr Update, my "smart" phone got stupid today.

Last night it started a system update, and for some reason required that I connect to the WiFi. Now I had already shut down the computer and router for the night, and wasn't about to start them back up just for the phone, so I turned off the phone too, figuring it would just pick up where it left off. Basically, that is what it did the next morning after I connected to the router. Or I should say, the second router. I tried to use my HotSpot instead of the DSL line, figuring it was faster, but I couldn't connect to the Internet. For some reason that has always been an issue. So how do I take my computer on the road if I can't get a connection because the HotSpot has to be hooked up first to my network?

So I connected to the DSL line instead, and everything seemed to be going okay. It took about fifteen minutes to download the Update, and when the notification came to do the install, I started that process. Three reboots later, everything was back up and running again, or so I thought. I then realized the MyRadar app did not do its normal data update. The download indicator came on, but the temperature display never did. The app would open, but there was no radar or weather information displayed. The NOAA Weather app wouldn't load data either. Flickr just sat there with the red-blue balls cycling around. Since I was near the date for re-upping the service on the phone, I tried the Tracfone app, and it wouldn't load at all.

I tried a few settings, and found out I now needed to have a WiFi connection for anything to work. Great, I thought, now I'll be at the mercy of any unsecured Network out there. Or I could just use it at home, which kind of defeats the purpose of having the stupid thing. So it expires in a few days, it has a cracked screen cover, none of the apps will work over a mobile network anymore, and I don't even use it as a phone.

It has been said that Flickr is coming out with a new app early this month, so I might as well wait to see what the telecom companies have to offer before I replace the phone. I don't know as I would like to continue with the Tracfone business, as you always get some oddball model that you can't find accessories for. I figured out that with the landline, HotSpot, DSL, and separate long distance provider, plus the data usage per month on the smart phone, I'm already paying what a single line smartphone would run me on an unlimited plan.

Question now is what carrier, and what system do I choose. AT&T is out of the running, because I didn't like the way they treated me the last time I talked with them (they were trying to push a $250 or more per month plan with TV service included). Verizon kind of ticked me off with the lousy HotSpot service. And T-Mobile and Sprint will be merging soon, so I don't want to get hooked up with them only to find out they will be giving out some really great options after the merger, many months from now. But I certainly don't want to go with any of the no-contract providers either. You're limited with what phones you can use in your home area, with no guaranty they will work outside those limits. Many a time I've not been able to get a signal, while all around me have. And with the proprietary versions of phones being models not used by the general public, it's hard to find accessories specifically for your phone.

So I'll do some research, see what the experts say, and try to find a carrier that has a decent offering.

Then wait for the new Flickr app to hit.
