That Lomo fisheye shot is superb.....

The hull is undergoing repairs, so they draind the water around the boat.
I think it has been mudbound for decades since the state of NC saved the girl from being a target for nuclear explosions in the 50s

I visited it once back in 1975, and even then they said it was mud bound, but probably could be backed out of the slip if they really had to. It has to do with the fact the slip is at a 90° angle to the river, so the silt builds up pretty fast under it. It's still amazing to walk the decks, even if they don't heave with every wave anymore.

Thanks, Graham. I probably should have kept it, but it was missing the external viewfinder so I gave it away.
