At the end I sold all of this for a good price to a collector that will cherish the lens and use it more than I can.
Saying goodbye to the Zeiss lens was hard, it became a sentimental piece that tied me to my grandfather...
but the Kiev/Contax system is not for me and I got offered good money
At the end I sent the money to my daughters college accounts as a present from my grandparents.

I drove past this farm for years and never notices the shadow had the shape of a bird until I saw it before taking this pic

The old farmhouse was demolished a few weeks after I took this pic
All that farm is now a flat and boring space making way to hundreds of townhouses

It was a decent Sonnar, also in color. Too bad about the farmhouse.
