Oh, what a loss.
I am glad he checked in with us to let us know he was going, and to give us a chance to say, if not goodbye, then how we appreciated him.
I hope the end was easy for him.

Kalle to me always seemed to be a bit of a free spirit, even when he had pressing obligations to attend to. He now has all the freedom in the world.
I'd hoist a Fosters to him, but I'm no longer a drinking man, so I'll just do it in the figurative.
