Nice! I kept looking for one of those to go with my N2020 but all of them I found had the same problem of severe battery corrosion. Maybe someday I'll find a decent one.

I gave the N2000 away a few months ago, sorry I didn't know you wanted one.

Oh, that's okay. I have one, it's just that the poor thing had the bad corrosion, but cosmetically looks okay. I kept it just as part of the collection, but since I don't shoot much film anymore, I've not been interested in getting a working example.

Cute little camera, seems to be more than capable in your capable hands.

I've got a similar "format" Ricoh 500G. The only downside is that it is shutter priority and manual - I much prefer aperture priority.

Thanks, Paul. My first compact was a Ricoh 500G. It's still around here somewhere. I need to replace the light seals and had to find a large enough piece to be able to make a custom fit. Just haven't gotten back to completing the job.

The Minolta HiMatic series is great, and the 7 model of the series is probably the most sought after. That 40/1.7 lens is very good. Excellent results in your outdoor test!

It's not Friday, but hey...

A couple of cameras have recently found their way here. Not sure how ...

First up is my second not-a-folder, a Braun Gloria. It's in really nice condition, everything works including the rangefinder. The patch is quite faint though, so when I work out how to get the top off I'll replace the RF mirror. My other not-a-folder is a fairly rare Weha Chrome Six.

The second camera that found its way here is on the much smaller end of the scale. A very nice Minox A:

I've printed a film slitter, and have a couple of reloadable cartridges for the Minox. Now I just have to load 'em with some nice fine-grained film.

Waiting to see how you get along with that beautiful little Minox. I have seen a few locally but never decided on one. How do you plan to scan the Minox negs?
