What Alex is alluding to is that even though the parts may not be an exact match, the basic operations are the same, so the Vero parts and actions will work similar to an NKK shutter even if they don't look the same. You still need a B lever to trip the shutter, and a drive to charge the shutter, and a holding lever to keep the shutter open until the escapement runs down. Whatever other levers are in there they are mainly to transfer the action from one place to another and are formed at the whim of the designer who can either create an exact copy of a different shutter or make the parts unique to the design.
