Here are some shots from the outdoors portion of the C&O Historical Society’s annual exposition. They were taken at the Henry Hoffman Heritage Center which is located in a part of the old rail freight yard at Clifton Forge, VA. Across town in the armory, the model train show is held at the same time, and those photos can be seen in Part 1 https://flic.kr/s/aHskrMUVce

Views of the old smokestack at the now shuttered car shops.

Very nice coverage. Love that big Greenbrier! Was that brought up from the museum in Baltimore?

Thanks, Tom. Not sure about the former whereabouts of this engine. I think it may have sat in Richmond, VA for a while too. I remember seeing an engine up there from a distance, but couldn't get the number off it. That one may have been an Allegheny though.
