I clicked on the "unanswered posts" link and am dismayed by the number of posts here that don't attract any response or reply, not even an emoticon. Are we all so disinterested that we don't feel it necessary to comment on the majority of threads that we read?
Come on, guys, we can do better than that! Wassamatter your typing fingers? I for one am going to do my best to visit more often and leave my spoor..

I concur with your dismay, Graham. I just commented on a couple, but I am just a bad as the other guy about reading without commenting. Will try to do better.

I sometimes just leave a Favorite (click the little heart icon), because I'll have problems coming up with something to say. I wish there was a way to see who clicked on the heart, instead of just the number.

I agree with PF. I clicked on the heart.

It tells everyone that you are too lazy to type a reply or a comment.........

I just tried clicking a heart, and all I got was "{"toggle_action":"add","toggle_post":"5521"}" I guess it is supposed to add a number next to the heart symbol (which, I might add, I never noticed until this thread).

There are lots of things that can cloud the mind, Graham. Drugs, strokes, alcohol, depression, vitamin deficiencies, sleep deprivation. Sometimes, the words just don't come, and at others I just don't feel like parroting what someone else has already said. It's not a forum membership requirement to reply to every post. But I try my best.

I agree that not all posts solicit a reply, I just think that it would be a good thing if this forum were somewhat more active than it is.
