Humor/Humour and Nelson

Something that is sort of missing here that we had at Nelson. We would fight like cats and dogs and in the same thread end up setting a date to get a beer together. Today is 420 day and I know not everyone knows what that is.
I posted this photo in a few places today and the best reply I got was perfect. I don't expect everyone to enjoy humor but at times the banter is what made Nelson.

Am I thinking too hard and misremembering the old days?

I know what you mean, Larry. We need a spark. We need a few characters.
Maybe we've all become complacent as we've gotten older.
There's a fine line between lively and discord. One reason I stopped reading DPReview was because most threads descended into infantile name-calling after about 15 posts.
While we don't need that here, it does need something. Maybe it starts at the top. I've been thinking about this for some time - months, actually.
