That first shot catches my eye. I think it's because the people are so close to you. And the black and white film lends a 1950s-60s feel to it.

Haha...I see this everyday, on the way to work.... Looks like that "big hole" in front of Union Station is going to be closed soon (This is the revitalization of Union Station and expansion project).

[Downtown Toronto, March 2009, Nikon SP, Tri-X]
For my first post here, let's share the same building, Bill.
I extensively shot downtown Toronto twice in black and white, back in 2009-2010, either with my Nikon RF gear or my Rolleiflex. There are some dedicated albums on my flickr.
Glad to learn that there is a project for rejuvenating Union Station. Two years ago I attended a large André Kertész exhibition in Paris and was surprised to discover
this photo by him, entitled "Smoke in Toronto" (1979).

That is a gorgeous shot, Nicolas. Impressive tonal range. Good to see you here.

Bill,
I saw that you have an album on Toronto water front. May be will see you there someday.
I work downtown. Water front, downtown area, John St and St Lawrence market are my favorite places to shoot at lunch time.
