It is a Waterman Crusader with a nib that has some flex... and I found the old Pelikan 4001 Purple ink, which was my grandmother's favorite,in a local art shop.
I'm overjoyed!

4001 is a lovely ink.
i have switched to the Edelstein inks that pelikan has developed.lovely ink.just sweeeeeeet

About fountain pens I know nothing, but on the Takumars I can only agree. I bought a 28mm and a 105mm especially for use on
my M43 body, and maybe also on the Praktica VLC2 when I get (read 'make') the time for it ;-)

I used to be a fountain pen enthusiast but alas, my fingers are no longer as clever as they once were. I have a lifelong friend whose natural handwriting is Edwardian Script. He has my admiration and envy in the same way that Lang Lang does for his piano playing.

I couldn't agree more about the Pentax Takumars and Super Takumars. I treasure mine, and curst the fact that I don't have an M42 -> Nikon F adapter that will allow infinity focus.
