I think we ought to put our collective heads together and write our own guide - minus sarcasm. OK, maybe a little sarcasm is allowed.

I do not like the "still" part in this site name...

The guide is not that great. It is amusing to find Cape Cod, MA. or tourists markets in Paris being called obscure places.

Mike, if you lead with a guide outline, this could be an interesting project. No lack of knowledge about the matter in this forum.

This guy's notion that you should buy *all* the working cameras you see is a little off the wall. But something I regularly tell the young people I talk to about cameras is that if they see a cheap lens whose aperture seems not to be stuck, and whose largest f/stop is f/2 or better, get it. And if a camera has an f/1.4 lens on it, it's very probably worth getting if everything works. I've never regretted buying my fast Canonets or Yashica Lynxes or the G.Zuiko-lens Olympus cameras.

We'll use this collaborative online tool called Samepage.io. It allows multiple people to access and edit a single document.

Mike, I got an email this morning that may have been to this end. I didn't understand it and deleted it -- it seemed to have a lot of html-like code and urls. Was that an invitation to Samepage?

That was an e-mail newsletter from the site, which apparently causes some browsers to not display correctly. Briefly, it says that if you want to join this project, send me your e-mail address via PM. Don't post your e-mail address here.

I can supply quite a few photos of cameras.

Yeah, it was all wonky on Firefox. No photos would display, and type was running all over the place. Haven't had the time to read it yet, been taking photos of P-51, B-17, B-24, and B-25 airplanes, and tomorrow too.
