Autumn Colour in Hertfordshire

We are having such a mild autumn (fall) this year, the trees have only just started to lose their leaves. I took a walk around the neighbourhood this morning to record some of the colour. I used the Nikon D7100 and the 50mm f2.8 AF-G prime with a polariser. There was a hazy overcast.

Very nice, Graham. I see you too are infested with those "Paradise" trees, though they do look great in the autumn.

That's a heckuva neighborhood. Beautiful fall colors you've got.

Beautiful colour, Graham. A "Paradise Tree" was just in front of my childhood home and I would climb it often.

Those very red trees in the first photo. They are an invasive Asian species, smell like crap, spread everywhere, basically useless, and are very hard to get rid of.

Very nice. Indeed, much better that the color here this year. After a very wet summer and a warm, dry fall, many of our trees mostly just turned yellow and brown.

Julio, in southern Africa those are called Syringa trees and are very beautiful in spring time.
